Priyanka Chopra is one strong woman. She is going through a beautiful phase in her life, after getting married to Nick Jonas at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. The wedding was extremely grand, and we still can’t stop looking at the pictures.
Recently, an article was published by The Cut (written by Mariah Smith) which labelled her as a ‘global scam artist’ and claimed that she had duped Nick into marrying her. The article went viral for all the wrong reasons, and was trashed universally. After the criticism, The Cut took down the article and even tweeted an apology.
An earlier story about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not meet our standards. We've removed it and apologize https://t.co/DkcOatMV2z

Priyanka was asked about the article at a recent event, and she said, “I don’t even want to react or comment. It’s not even in my stratosphere. I’m in a happy place at this moment. These kinds of random things can’t disturb it.”
Nick Jonas’ brother Joe Jonas and his fiancee Sophie Turner also slammed the publication and called the article ‘disgusting’. Bollywood stars like Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor too criticised the article.
We really hope that reputed publications like The Cut refrain themselves from publishing such articles that are truly laced with malice. Thankfully, it is not disrupting Priyanka’s peace of mind or taking away her happiness. We really wish that she has a happy married life ahead with Nick Jonas.
