Priyanka Chopra is ‘devastated’ to know of the Assam floods; Here’s what she wants you to do now!

The situation of Assam has been worsening day by day due to flood. Not only the people but also the flora and fauna of the state are affected by the situation. Priyanka Chopra who is the brand ambassador of Assam Tourism took to her Twitter handle to urge her fans to donate funds for Assam Flood Relief. In the tweet, Priyanka also wrote that she is “extremely devastated” by the news of floods in Assam and other parts of India. “It’s heartbreaking to read about the displacement and loss of life,” she tweeted.

Also, Shraddha Kapoor and Dia Mirza too urged fans to donate for the flood victims of Assam. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has donated Rs 1 crore each to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and Kaziranga National Park for the flood victims.

30 districts out of 33 in Assam have been affected by the floods and over 4,600 villages and 95 percent of the Kaziranga National Park are underwater.
