Priyanka Chopra ventures into mobile series ‘It’s My City’

Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra gained critical acclaim for her role of Alex Parrish in American Television series ‘Quantico’. She is on a high after winning the prestigious People’s choice Awards. Now the beauty who had much fun walking the red carpet for Elle’s celebration of Women In Television event is moving onto something new. She has turned co-producer for a mobi-series “It’s My City” for video entertainment mobile app nexGTv. She is not only producing it but will also be acting in it.

A few days back the actress had tweeted, “New year… new directions… here’s a sneak peak in something really exciting! Any guesses?”

The series is a story about four girls – Manika, Sonali, Tina and Nikki – living together in the same flat in Mumbai on a journey of life, love and lunacy in Mumbai. Priyanka will appear as herself, assuming the mantle of an official landlady, unofficial guardian and protective friend. The bi-weekly 14-part series, which will begin on Friday, will have new mobisodes every Tuesday and Friday. It is created by digital network Fluence and co-produced by Priyanka’s production company Purble Pebble Pictures India and Endemol-Shine India.
