Priyanka’s wedding kalire is all about her love story with Nick Jonas. As described by her stylist, it had a symbol from Greece where Nick proposed to her. It also had a cupid, a cross and the Trishul from both their religions. It also had an engraved silhouette of both and Mr. Chip Potts, their favourite character from the movie ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Priyanka was in designer Sabyasachi’s exclusively designed couture. The wedding jewelry was made of uncut diamonds, emeralds and Japanese cultured pearls in 22-carat gold that was also from  Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection.

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot as per Christian and Hindu rituals on December 1 and 2, 2018 at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. Not only the Hindu wedding ensemble, but she also got her white wedding couture customized by ace designer Ralph Lauren. Earlier in an interview to NDTV, Priyanka said, “For me, it was not about fashion. I wanted something unique. Both the dresses – red and white – were personalised for me. I had names, dates, my parents’ name, my mother-in-law’s wedding dress embroidered on mine. Things that mattered to me. I wanted the longest veil in the world. My 75-foot long veil and I got that. The outfits were personal choices.”
