Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim begin the London schedule of ‘The Sky Is Pink’

Filmmaker Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’ is going to be desi girl Priyanka Chopra’s homecoming to Bollywood. For this film, Priyanka will be teaming up with her ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ co-star Farhan Akhtar and the movie also stars Zaira Wasim of ‘Dangal’ fame.

Now after wrapping up the Mumbai schedule of the film, the ‘The Sky Is Pink’ team is currently working on their London schedule. Just yesterday, sharing an image of her co-stars, Priyanka captioned the vibrant picture as “It’s On”. In the picture, we can see the actress being flanked by Farhan, Zaira and Rohit Saraf. And you will love their lovely smiles.

In the film, Priyanka and Farhan are going to play Zaira Wasim’s parents. The film is being produced by Vidya Balan’s filmmaker husband Siddharth Roy Kapur. The official handle of Roy Kapur Films also shared a few on the sets pictures from the London schedule of the film.

With this film, Priyanka will be returning to Bollywood after a gap of two years.

‘The Sky Is Pink’ is based on the life of late Aisha Chaudhary, a girl who suffered from pulmonary fibrosis when she was 13-years-old. Irrespective of her illness, she became a motivational speaker and author of a book titled ‘My Little Epiphanies’. However, she could not fight for long and passed away at the age of 19 on January 24, 2018.
