All you need to know about Priyanka and Nick’s Hindu wedding couture

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot as per Christian and Hindu rituals. The wedding festivities started with a traditional puja at Priyanka’s residence and the rest of the pre-wedding ceremonies were held in Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. Today, the couple shared the first two pictures (and boy, they are beautiful) from both their wedding ceremonies.

For the Hindu wedding, Priyanka and Nick wore renowned designer Sabyasachi’s exclusively designed couture. Here we give you the breakdown of the couple’s wedding outfits, jewelry and footwear. The bride was in a bright red lehenga that is hand-embroidered and has hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss, embellished with Siam-red crystals. Sharing a picture of the couple, Sabya also said that it took 110 embroiderers to make this lehenga in 3720 hours. Also, he has mentioned the details of Priyanka’s royal jewellery. The wedding jewelry are made of uncut diamonds, emeralds, and Japanese cultured pearls in 22-carat gold.

Nick was in a silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa. He completed his look with a diamond necklace that is from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection. Priyanka wore wedding footwear by Sabyasachi Accessories while Nick’s shoes are by Christian Louboutin.
