Priyanka Chopra finally opens up on Nick Jonas’ reaction to the ‘global scam artist’ article

Priyanka Chopra is inspiring women all over the world with her sheer talent and confidence. With every passing day, she is giving us new reasons to fall in love with her. Last year, the actress got married to the love of her life Nick Jonas in a fairytale wedding which took place in the lavish Jodhpur Palace.

PeeCee even has some big-ticket Hollywood projects in her kitty. UNICEF’s goodwill ambassador Priyanka is writing her own success story and living life on her own terms. Unfortunately, there are people who can’t see others prosper in life. When PeeCee got married to Nick Jonas who is a decade younger than her, trolls started criticising her.

Then there was this journalist of a reputed US-based website who called Priyanka a ‘global scam artist’  in one of her articles. The article created so much uproar that soon it was deleted and the publication issued a public apology.

Now, generally Priyanka never responds to such haters. However, she recently broke her silence on this particular article. Talking to the Sunday Times, Priyanka said, “I didn’t comment on it at the time. But I went up to the hotel room to find Nick, Joe, Sophie Turner and my mum furiously responding to the article on their phones. They were like, ‘These b*******! How dare they?’ I thought, ‘I’m having a great moment, nothing is going to burst my bubble’.”

The ‘Quantico’ actress went on to add that just because she is a public figure, people are bound to have an opinion on her. She even shared her views on being criticised for sharing pictures with hubby Nick on her social media handles. “Just because I’m famous, don’t I have the ability to be proud of being a newlywed without people saying that I’m using my marriage? I gave up my right to privacy when I became a public person, it’s the deal you make with the devil. But trust me, there are lots of things I still keep personal,” said the actress.

Well, Priyanka certainly knows how to deal with trolls and haters. On the work front, the actress will be next seen in ‘The Sky Is Pink’. She also has a project with Mindy Kaling in her kitty.
