Priyanka’s white furry number at Emmys 2017 is HOT but a safe play!

Whenever PeeCee is stepping out for some or the other event, all the fashion critics out there have an eye for her as she always manages to nail it, no matter what she wears. And this time, our very own desi girl and also an International sensation, Piggy Chops looked like a beauty to behold in her white feathered dress by Balmain. Much to our notice, we think that PeeCee’s last year stint at Emmy’s was a daring one in that flowy Jason Wu red dress, but this time, the star has surely played it safe. We wonder why?

What Priyanka wore..
The 35-year-old ‘Quantico’ star, who opted for a packed neck dress at this year’s 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, twirled her way on the red carpet with a lot of panache. Wearing a shimmery white full-sleeved gown with feathered trail behind, PeeCee looked sassy but we still think that some punch was missing. Makeup/Accessories…
While, Priyanka’s pretty Balmain gown was the most visible thing on the red carpet, we here think that her fierce makeup was the king. The ‘Baywatch’ star jazzed up her serene look with a bold pop of plum on her lips, smoky eyes (which matched her pout tone) and diamond earrings. All in all, PeeCee’s lip shade really augmented this not-so-experimental look. Digging in much further, Priyanka will surely enjoy some brownie points with regards to her makeup stint here.

Verdict…
Frankly, we think Priyanka might have done a much better job as we missed the experimental girl here. While we are not at saying that the gown was bad; it’s just like a deep plunging neckline or some out-of-the-box look is what we were expecting from Priyanka. Talking in depth about her gown, Priyanka’s sartorial choice with a full-sleeved, self-quilted number which had some dash of silver embellishments offset against the flawless white was quite admirable, but it wasn’t something we haven’t seen her play with before. Maybe we are expecting a lot from Priyanka?
