‘Chennai Express’ producer Karim Morani tests Covid-19 positive for the second time

Producer Karim Morani has again tested positive for Covid-19. He had first tested positive on April 8 and was immediately hospitalised for further treatment. His two daughters, Shaza and Zoa Morani, had also tested positive for Coronavirus but they have fully recovered now and got discharged from the hospital.

As per a Times of India report, the result of Karim’s second test has made his family all the more worried about him as he is over 60 years of age. In addition to that, he is a heart patient and has survived two heart attacks. In the past, he underwent bypass surgery. So that’s the reason why his family is extremely worried about him.

Karim is admitted in Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. According to his daughter Zoa, he didn’t even have any symptoms of Corona until they all went for a test after Shaza had tested positive. Now both Zoa and Shaza are discharged and they are praying for their dad to be back home soon.

Upon her return to home, Zoa had told PTI, “I am extremely grateful to the doctors, nurses and hospital staff who took care of my health and my spirits every day. You will be in my prayers forever. No words can describe how does it feel to be home. I’m so grateful, God is great.” 

The Morani sisters are now practising home quarantine as a precautionary measure.
