Filmmaker Nag Ashwin has pulled off a casting coup by bringing together Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas for his next. Project – K as the working title of the movie. The film went on floors today on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. Big B reached Hyderabad for Muhurat shot of the highly anticipated Project-K. For the muhurtham shot, Prabhas sounded the clapboard, as Big B faced the camera.
Sharing the good news, Prabhas shared a picture from the muhurat shot and wrote, “On this #GuruPurnima, it is an honour for me to Clap for the Guru of Indian cinema! … it now begins!! #ProjectK Amitabh Bachchan Deepika Padukone #NagAshwin Vyjayanthi Movies.”

In the first schedule of the film in Hyderabad, Ashwin will be filming some crucial sequences featuring Big B. Prabhas and Deepika are expected to join the cast later. While Big B has previously worked with the leggy beauty Deepika in Piku, this will be the first time he will sharing the screen space with the Baahubali star Prabhas. Touted as one of the most expensive Indian projects till date, a huge set has been mounted in RFC for this film.
Everyone is now looking forward to watching what magic Nag Ashwin is set to create with Project K after his critically acclaimed film Mahanati.
