Ekta Kapoor names her baby boy Ravie Kapoor

Filmmaker and TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor is on cloud nine as she recently embraced motherhood via surrogacy. Yes, Ekta welcomed a baby boy via surrogacy. Confirming the news, Ekta took to her Instagram handle and posted a heartfelt post.

An elated Ekta revealed that after facing several hiccups, she was finally able to welcome a beautiful soul in her family. She is immensely blessed to become a parent. She also shared that he just can’t wait to begin her new journey of being a mother. The TV czarina even revealed the name of her son. Yes, she has named her son Ravie Kapoor. Interestingly, Ravi Kapoor is the real name of Ekta’s father Jeetendra Kapoor.

The filmmaker also revealed how she tried to get pregnant with multiple cycles of IUI and IVF. However, she was unsuccessful. Ekta thanked her doctor for guiding her throughout the process as she opted for surrogacy.

Going by the caption, Ekta gave to her post, it’s clear that she has been trying for a baby since last 7 years.

We are glad that Ekta finally could fulfil her long cherished dream of becoming a mother. Interestingly, a few years back, Ekta’s actor brother Tusshar Kapoor too welcomed a son Laksshya Kapoor via surrogacy.
