‘Munna Michael’ is said to be a tribute to the ultimate dance maestro across all generations, the one and only, Michael Jackson. And yes, we do appreciate Tiger Shroff’s Munna trying to fit the bill. He dances like fluid and moves effortlessly into steps, be it the iconic Moonwalk, or desi matkas. Plus, we have Nawazuddin Siddiqui, in a comical gangster kind of role. So all in all, the effect is expected to be quite pleasant. Of course, in a movie that is named after a dancing legend, one would expect music to have beats that make you tap your feet whenever, wherever.
After two foot-tapping numbers, the disco-themed ‘Main Hoon’ and tapori-style street number ‘Ding Dang’, they are out with a romantic track, ‘Pyar Ho’. Does it move us? Nope, not happening. (Also Read: ‘Munna Michael’: Tiger Shroff and Nidhhi Agerwal do some #DingDang and get us grooving too)
The first thing that catches your eyes is the zilch presence of chemistry between the leads, i.e. Tiger Shroff and Niddhi Agerwal. Nidhhi is so awkward that it seems she is constantly looking over her back. Tiger’s lip sync is another thing which is preposterous to the extent it looks comical. The video is the same old Bollywood concept of heroine running in a long gown, in a desert, waiting to fall into the arms of a hero with unbuttoned shirt. Pleasing, but nothing extraordinary.
The audio itself is very average, and though Sunidhi Chauhan and Vishal Mishra have done a fair job, this does not look like the track which will stay with you for long.
Here’s the song for you.
This Monsoon…sirf #PyarHo ❤️😍

It seems appropriate to say at the moment, that team ‘Munna Michael’ should stick to dance tracks for now, because ‘Pyar Ho’ is certainly going to turn off the romance, this monsoon, instead of elevating the same.
