R Madhavan Reacts To Rumours Of Chatting With Young Girls On Social Media; Says, “People See Are Hearts, Kisses And Love Symbols”

Actor R Madhavan recently clarified misunderstandings that were going around on social media, where some people thought he flirted with young females. In order to dispel these rumours and provide clarification, the actor came forward.

Speaking at the Chennai launch of Parent Geenee Inc., a location-based parental control software, Madhavan discussed the unjustified scrutiny he receives on social media.

He has joined the app as an investor and strategic partner. A video of his speech has surfaced on Reddit. Explaining the challenges of navigating social media, Madhavan shared an example, he said, “A young girl messages me saying, ‘I saw this movie. I really loved it. I thought you were a fabulous actor, well done. You motivate me… and end it with hearts, kisses, and love symbols.”He added, “Now when a fan speaks to me in such detail, I feel compelled to respond. I usually reply, ‘Thank you so very much, that’s very kind of you. God bless you.’ However, the girl then takes a screenshot of my reply and posts it on Instagram. What people see are hearts, kisses, and love symbols with ‘Maddy has replied’. My intention was to acknowledge her message, not the symbols. But since it’s a small snippet, it creates misunderstandings. If I, with my experience, face this issue, imagine the trouble others can get into.”

On the work front, R Madhavan was last seen in the Zee5 film Hisaab Barabar exploring bank scams. He has a busy lineup ahead with multiple Tamil and Hindi projects. In Tamil, he will soon be seen in Adhirshtasaali and Test. In Hindi, he is set to star in Amriki Pandit, De De Pyaar De 2, Kesari Chapter 2, and Dhurandhar.
