Raageshwari Loomba’s father on ventilator support; actress seeks ‘divine prayers of powerful healing’

Singer-actress and former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant Raageshwari Loomba’s musician father, Trilok Singh Loomba has been on ventilator support since last month. Trilok Loomba has also tested positive for coronavirus.

After hearing about her father’s illness, she came from London to Mumbai two weeks ago and has been on home quarantine since then. She has come alone and her four-year-old daughter Samaya and husband Sudhanshu Swaroop are in London.

While talking about her father, Raageshwari told Bombay Times, “He got pneumonia a couple of months ago and was admitted to PD Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mahim. They did a Covid-19 test and it was negative. My father then recovered from pneumonia. When he was being discharged from the hospital, they tested him again and he was positive. He got Covid-19 in the hospital. So they turned him around and took him to the Covid ICU. It is heart-breaking. But he was so strong and took the news so positively.”

She said that doctors are very helpful and she is happy with the hospital and the doctors.

She added, “My father is mentally very strong and positive and the doctors say so too. We seek prayers, love and good wishes and hope for his swift recovery.”

A few hours back, Raageshwari posted on her Instagram handle seeking prayers for the recovery of her father. She wrote, “We seek your divine prayers of powerful healing for our beloved father, our Guru Trilok Singh Loomba. We believe in miracles and we thank you for your precious prayers.”
