Raataan Lambiyan Song From Shershaah: Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s endearing romance will tug at your heartstrings

The first song of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer Shershaah is out. It is titled Raataan Lambiyan and features Sidharth and Kiara. The song shows the love story of Sid and Kiara’s characters. Sidharth is playing Captain Vikram Batra and Kiara plays the role of his fiance Dimple Cheema. The lyrics are soulful and the song is melodious and it will tug at your heartstrings for sure.

The song brings back the memories of Captain Vikram Batra’s love story. The song is written and composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur have lent their soulful voice. “Love like this is rare & for Capt. Vikram Batra (PVC) and Dimple, it lasted for more than just a lifetime!,” Sidharth captioned as he shared a clip of the song on his social media.

Directed by Vishnu Varadhan, Shershaah is jointly presented by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Amazon Prime Video India. It will release ahead of Independence Day, on August 12 on Amazon Prime Video. It also stars Shiv Panditt, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Anil Charanjeett, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar, and Pawan Chopra in pivotal roles.

Talking about Captain Vikram Batra, he played a very crucial role during the Kargil War (1999). He was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, which is India’s highest war-time gallantry award. The film celebrates his valiant spirit and honors his invaluable sacrifice. The film will also show Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema’s love story that is a touching tale for generations to remember.
