Raazi: Alia and Vicky make a sparkling entry as a couple

The year 2017 saw many unusual pairings on the silver screen with Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh being the most talked about jodi. This year we will see Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal team up for the first time. The two will be seen together in director Meghna Gulzar’s next titled ‘Raazi’. ‘Raazi’ is one of the most awaited films of the year as Alia Bhatt will be seen on the silver screen after a gap of almost one year. The film’s director Meghna took to Twitter to share a still from the film and revealed that 100 days are left for the movie to release:

Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal’s pairing looks quite good and the two look adorable together.

Talking about the film, it is a period-thriller produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film features Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel ‘Calling Sehmat’ which is about a Kashmiri spy getting married to a Pakistani army man during the Indo-Pak War of 1971.

Alia is riding high on the success of her films like ‘Kapoor & Sons’, ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Dear Zindagi’ and her last release ‘Badrinath ki Dulhania’. We are quite excited to see the actress back on the silver screen. ‘Raazi’ is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
