‘Radhe’: ‘Bigg Boss 8’ winner Gautam Gulati roped in for the Salman Khan starrer

‘Radhe’ is the most awaited film of Salman Khan in 2020. The teaser of ‘Radhe’ released last month and Salman’s fans went gaga over it. ‘Bigg Boss 8’ winner Gautam Gulati is taken on board for the movie and the news has been confirmed by Gautam.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Gautam said, “I can’t reveal details of my audition, but during the process, I saw Salman sir looking at my look test. Later, he showed me a thumbs up and hugged me. Salman sir was keen to know how I would be interpreting my character in the film. He also taught me a few things and told me what to do.”

As soon as he was confirmed for ‘Radhe’, Gautam’s first call was to his mother. He said, “I hugged Salman sir and called my mother to share the good news with her. I feel happiness should always be shared with family first.”

Outlook India quoted a source as saying that Gautam will be seen as one of the antagonists in the movie and he will play a very pivotal role. He has already begun shooting with the cast and will be seen getting a hairdo for it. “He might shave off his hair or will trim it short for the role,” added the source.

Gautam was earlier seen in movies like ‘Azhar’ and ‘Behen Hogi Teri’.

Talking about ‘Radhe’, it also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff among others. The movie will hit the screens on Eid 2020.
