Actress Radhika Apte‘s psychological thriller ‘Phobia’ is set to hit the theatres. Apart from this Pawan Kripalani directorial, Radhika is also a part of the Rajinikanth starrer Tamil film ‘Kabali’. When asked whether there were chances of her being overshadowed by the superstar, Radhika was sort of turned off and stated that there were no such possibilities.
“Why would anything like that even happen? We are actors. I am playing one character, he is playing another character. There are no chances of being overshadowed. No actor is overshadowed by the another,” the ‘Ahalya’ actress said.
Leading ladies having lesser screen time than the lead actors in Bollywood films has been a topic of discussion since a long time; especially if that particular film features a superstar. Given that, it is challenging for any actress to perform opposite a name like Rajinikanth and make her presence felt. We do hope Radhika succeeds in that!
‘Phobia’ which is a story of a woman suffering from Agarophobia releases tomorrow, May 26.
