Raftaar and wife Komal Vohra file for divorce after 6 years of marriage

Rapper Raftaar married wife Komal Vohra, who is an interior designer, in December 2016 and now the latest reports suggest that the couple is set to separate and go on their own ways officially with a divorce and it will happen this October. According to a report in Hindustan Times, the couple had been living separately for a while now, and the divorce is just going to be the step to make it official.

Raftaar and Komal met at a friend’s place in 2011 and it was instant attraction for them. After five years of dating, the couple got married in 2016, the news of which the rapper shared with the world on social media with pictures, calling Komal his soulmate. As of now, the couple have deleted each other’s pictures from their accounts and have unfollowed each other.

The report stated that Raftaar and Komal had filed for a divorce in 2020, around the onset of the pandemic, but owing to the situation, the proceedings were delayed. “Everything was delayed due to the pandemic. They will sign the divorce papers on October 6,” revealed a source close to the couple.

The source also stated that the couple’s problems began just a few days into their marriage, and even though they have decided to go their separate ways, the couple and their families remain on cordial terms. Only the close people to the couple are aware about their situation.

The report further said that when the portal reached out to Komal, she confirmed the development but denied to comment any further on it. Komal’s real name is Dilin Nair and she is the sister of TV actors Karan and Kunal Vohra. On the professional front, Raftaar recently crooned the title song of Nushrratt Bharuccha-led Janhit Mein Jaari.
