Filmmaker Rahul Rawail confirms Rishi Kapoor is now cancer free

In September last year, Rishi Kapoor flew off to the US to undergo treatment for 45 years “plus” of wear and tear at the movies. Bollywood Bubble was the first to inform you that the veteran actor has been detected with the third stage of cancer and he is undergoing treatment for the same in the US. While the Kapoor family has acknowledged that Rishi is suffering from some serious ailment, they haven’t confirmed it yet that he is suffering from cancer.

Veteran filmmaker Rahul Rawail took to Facebook and sharing a picture with Rishi Kapoor wrote, “Rishi Kapoor (Chintu) is cancer-free.” You can check his post below:

Going by Rawail’s post, the Kapoor’s undisclosed ailment is indeed cancer. But we wonder why none of his family members have spoken about it so far. Anyway, we are glad that the senior Kapoor is cancer free and we are looking forward to welcoming him back in India.

Since the last one year, Rishi’s wife Neetu has kept his fans and followers updated about his recovery and treatment by sharing his pictures on her social media handle. She once even mentioned in one of her posts – “Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign !!! No hatred less poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health.”

We are waiting for the Sr. Kapoor to share his journey as that would really become a source of inspiration for anyone battling with cancer out there.
