Amidst Raj Kundra’s arrest, an old video of Kapil Sharma asking him about his ‘source of income’ goes viral

Businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 night by the Crime Branch in Mumbai. Actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband was taken into judicial custody over his alleged involvement in making pornographic films and publishing them through some mobile applications. After Raj Kundra was arrested, there has been an uproar on social media amidst which an old video from The Kapil Sharma Show is going viral. It was back when Raj had made an appearance in TKSS with his wife Shilpa Shetty and her sister Shamita Shetty.

In the video, Kapil is seen asking Raj Kundra what is his ‘source of income’ because most of the time he is seen taking Shilpa for shopping, playing football matches with Bollywood stars and enjoying exotic vacations. Kapil asked Raj, “Bina kuch kiye paisa kaise kamate ho aap (how do you manage to earn money without doing anything).” This question left everyone in the audience in splits.

Meanwhile, earlier in a statement issued by CP Mumbai read, “There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. We’ve arrested Mr. Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidences regarding this. The investigation is in progress please.”

As per the latest reports, Raj has been sent to police custody with his alleged partner Ryan Tharp who was also arrested. Raj and Ryan Tharp were produced before Mumbai’s Esplanade Court until then they are to stay in custody till July 23.
