Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 for alleged production and distribution of pornographic films through mobile applications. The 45-year-old was produced before Magistrate Court and he was sent to police custody till July 23 and then again his custody was extended till July 27.
Today, a few hours back, Kundra was spotted while he was being taken to the Mumbai court for the hearing of bail plea. The bail plea has been rejected as the court has sent Raj Kundra and his partner Ryan Thorpe to judicial custody for 14 days now. Read on.

ANI had also reported that Raj was anticipating his arrest after the Mumbai Police took nine people into custody in connection with the creation and distribution of pornography. He also had ‘Plan B’ to avoid investigation and had also changed his phone in March so that data could not be recovered from his phone.
The Mumbai Police have also seized Raj Kundra’s laptop and a SAN (Storage Area Network) box. “We accessed 48 TB data. Huge data was deleted once our case was filed on instructions from Raj Kundra. Also, after Kundra’s arrest, more data was deleted,” officials told TOI.
Also, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is likely to join the investigation as police have found transactions between Raj and the South African bank account of Mercury International company.
