Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday in connection with a case of allegedly making pornographic films and publishing them through mobile applications. Kundra has been in police custody since then.
Today marks the end of police custody for businessmen and Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra who was arrested earlier this week. Sometime back, Kundra was spotted while he was being taken to the Mumbai court for the hearing of his case. He posed with folded hands for the media stationed outside the premises. The latest update on the case states that Raj has now been sent to police custody till July 27. Read on.
The 45-year-old businessman was produced before Magistrate Court and the police sought 7 days further police custody. Now Raj Kundra’s police custody has been extended till July 27. The Mumbai Police told the court that they suspect Raj was using the money earned from pornography for online betting, which is why his bank accounts will have to be probed.

Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj has also been reportedly pulled up for streaming of porn videos through the ‘Hotshots’ app. Mumbai’s Joint Police Commissioner (Crime) Milind Bharambe said that the free to download app was pulled off by both Apple and Google Playstore for the type of its content. Raj has said that he sold ‘Hotshots’ for $25,000 in 2019. However, reports also suggest that Raj and his UK based brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi worked together on this app.
