Rajesh Roshan opens up on brother Rakesh Roshan’s health post surgery

Yesterday Hrithik Roshan gave everyone a shock as he revealed about his filmmaker father’s cancer diagnosis. The actor took to his Instagram account and revealed that his father has been diagnosed with ‘squamous cell carcinoma of the throat’ for which he underwent surgery at a Sobo hospital yesterday.

Today, Rakesh Roshan‘s brother veteran music composer Rajesh Roshan opened up on his brother’s health post the surgery. Talking about Rakesh, Rajesh told Mumbai Mirror, “He is better now and recovering well. We were all very tense about the surgery and the entire family was in the hospital with him. God willing, he will be up in the next three days and should be discharged from the hospital.”

Yesterday, as soon as Hrithik had revealed about his father’s health, his fans and followers send in their speedy recovery messages for the Roshan senior. In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi too took to his twitter handle and sent in his good wishes for the Roshan family. Responding to PM’s message, Rajesh told the daily, “This was very big-hearted of the Prime Minister and a huge encouragement for both the patient and his family.”

Even Hrithik thanked the PM and informed him that according to the doctors his father’s surgery has gone off well.

We are so glad that everything is fine and that Roshan senior will be out of the hospital very soon.
