The Kapoor family lost another member after Rishi Kapoor as Rajiv Kapoor aka Chimpu passed away today. Chimpu was 58 years old and he suffered a heart attack. Rishi Kapoor‘s wife and Rajiv’s sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram to confirm the news. Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news as well and told Times of India, “I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him.”
When Neetu shared the heartbreaking news on her social media account her fans and friend gave their heartfelt condolences. Along with the others, Bollywood celebs like Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza and other Bollywood celebs paid their respects.
Kareena took to her Instagram account and shared a picture of the Kapoor brothers. The caption read, “Broken but strong ?”

Neha Dhupia took to the comments on Neetu’s post and wrote, “So so sorry to hear this ?”, Dia Mirza also extended her condolences and wrote, “So sorry ??” Other Bollywood celebs like Soni Razdan also mourned Chimpu Kapoor’s death in the comments.
Riddhima took to her Instagram account and also posted a picture of Chimpu as she wrote, “Good bye uncle ♥️ #RIP(sic)”

As per a report in Time of India, Randhir took Rajiv to Inlaks Hospital but the doctors declared him dead on arrival. Rajiv Kapoor worked in films like Ram Teri Ganga Maili, Ek Jaan Hain Hum, Aasmaan, Lover Boy, Zabardast and Hum To Chale Pardes.
