After Sanju, Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor to reunite again? Here’s what we know

Rajkumar Hirani is cherishing the stupendous success of his recently directed movie Dunki. The ace filmmaker is very well-known for delivering content-rich movies backed with loads of humor. Earlier, Rajkumar Hirani had teamed up with Ranbir Kapoor for Sanju and the movie emerged as one of the biggest hits. Amid this, the audience would love to watch Rabir and Rajkumar collaborate once again, and the filmmaker has now opened up about the same!

Rajkumar Hirani on working with Ranbir Kapoor again

Dunki director Rajkumar Hirani opened up about working with Ranbir Kapoor and desired to work with him again. The director got into an interview with India Today where he said, “Ranbir is an absolute sweetheart. We had a great time making ‘Sanju’. I would definitely love to do another film with him. There a few scripts with me and we are in touch. So let’s see where this goes.”

He added, “Sometimes, it happens that you start writing a particular script and it doesn’t go anywhere and then you start another one and it becomes something. So yes, I love Ranbir (smiles).”

Speaking of Ranbir Kapoor, he recently starred in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, which is riding high on success. Though the movie earned mixed responses from the audience, Animal shattered several box office records as it minted over Rs.800 crores globally.

Meanwhile, Dunki marked the first collaboration between Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan. The movie released on 21st December and is winning hearts all over. Dunki continues its stupendous run at the international box office as it has already crossed Rs.300 crores and continues to grow.

Given that Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor’s collaboration in Sanju turned out to be a hit, the audience would definitely love to watch them collaborate once again!
