Rajkumar Hirani’s latest directorial ‘Sanju‘ has proved to be a box office hit. Within just three days of its release, the movie has surpassed the 100 crore mark. Apart from being a hit at BO, the actors of the movie along with the director, are being praised by the audiences. Well, it is not easy to create a biopic of a man whose life has been full of ups and downs. However, Hirani managed to do justice to Dutt’s life by presenting it subtly on the celluloid.
And while the world has given a positive nod to the film, director Rajkumar Hirani recently revealed how nerve-cracking was it for him to show the film to Sanjay Dutt. In an interaction with ABP News, Hirani also stated that he feared getting beaten up by Dutt. He said,” Before the screening, I suddenly got frightened. We had shown everything and he (Dutt) never came to the shoot. I was wondering, what will be his reaction? We might get beaten up too. He was sitting in the seat next to mine. He was watching the film and I was stealthily watching his reactions. It was only when the film ended that he cried and hugged me and Ranbir.”

Well, we can understand what the director must have gone through the entire process of filming, as there would have been a constant pressure to make a clean movie while not glorifying any of Sanjay’s life phases.
Anyway, talking about the film’s current state, it is on a record-breaking spree and has turned out to become the highest grossing film of the year. On the similar note, do let us know if you watched the film? If yes, pour in your thoughts in the comments section below.
