Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Badhaai Do’ to release in theatres on THIS date

Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Badhaai Do will release in theatres. The makers made an official announcement about the release of the film on Saturday, October 30. Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao took to their respective social media handles to inform fans and the audience. The movie Badhaai Do will release in cinemas in 2022. The makers of Badhaai Ho have locked the date of Republic Day 2022 weekend for the release of the entertainer. Bhumi and Rajkummar both shared a brilliant team picture, along with the announcement.

Bhumi shared the group picture with Rajkummar Rao and the Badhaai Do director. And in the caption, she wrote, “Theatre ready… Aap ready… Toh hum bhi ready… Republic Day weekend 2022 ko aa rahe hain hum aapse milne in cinemas to celebrate… So save the date!! And congratulations nahi #BadhaaiDo (sic).” The actress tagged Rajkummar and the makers in the caption of her post.

The film Badhaai Do is directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni. The original movie titled Badhai Ho featured Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, and late Surekha Sikri. The actors in the film received many awards and accolades for their stellar performances.

Badhaai Do will see Rajkummar Rao playing the role of a police official. Bhumi, on the other hand essays the character of a PT teacher. The film went on floors in January earlier this year. The team shot in Dehradun. As the makers of Badhaai Do announce the release date, the movie is expected to clash with John Abraham’s starrer Attack. The film Attack is also slated for a Republic Day 2022 release.
