RajKummar Rao is all set to feature in Raj and DK’s Netflix series Guns and Gulaabs. The trailer of the series was unveiled by the makers at an event in Delhi on 2 August 2023. The Stree actor is a huge Shah Rukh Khan fan and he has never shied away from expressing his admiration for him. While promoting Guns and Gulaabs, RajKummar Rao shared why he feels Shah Rukh Khan is the actor who perfectly defines ’90s bollywood.

On being asked which Bollywood actor he credits the most for making the 90s special, Rajkummar said, “There is one and only Shah Rukh Khan. He is the most Jawan actor of our times.” Later on, while talking exclusively to a news portal, Rajkummar said he loves all the work of SRK. He avvered, “Everything that he (Shah Rukh Khan) has done from Dil Se, DDLJ to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, everything that he has done, I love all of them.

RajKummar has worked with Raj and DK on the horror comedy Stree. During the event he expressed that he looks forward to work with them time and again. He said, “I want to be in all projects done by Raj and DK. Be it The Family Man, Farzi, etc. I love the world they create. I love them to death. When they first narrated the script of Stree to me, I thought how do they come up with such ideas. But they are known for that. Jo koi nahi sochta vo Raj and DK sochte hain (Raj and DK think what nobody else can).”

Talking about Guns and Gulaabs, it is set in the backdrop of ’90s and exudes retro vibes. It is in the heartland of fictional town of Gulaabgunj where cops and gangsters are at each other’s throats. The series stars Dulquer Salmaan, Gulshan Devaiah, Pooja Gor, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Adarsh Gourav in pivotal roles. It is all set to stream on the OTT platform Netflix from August 18.
