Rajkummar Rao CONFESSES about stealing in his younger days, read on

After jolting the audience with a terrific glimpse of Guns & Gulaabs, actor Rajkummar Rao attended a fan event held in Delhi. During the event, the actor recalled his childhood days and shared them, expressing how he solved many problems, including household chores. The actor joked around, saying that he not just fixes nuts and bolts in his house but the actor also stole a few cable wires.

Rajkummar Rao recalls his childhood days during a fan event

Rajkummar Rao further said that he did not ever fixed punctured tires in his life. He said. “Haven’t fixed punctures but we did have paanna (spanner) at our house. Each house has a self-made engineer who fixes everything around the house. I did that in our house. If there is a wire to be changed (I’d do it) or padosi ke ghar se cable churani hai (stealing cable from the neighbour’s house) – we had that kind of cable those days. I did all of that very well,” quoted Hindustan Times.

Rajkummar Rao speaks about Raj & DK

Netflix and Act Fibernet organized the special screening of Guns & Gulaabs. The event witnessed a screening of the first two episodes of the comedy-drama series. The actor also spoke about Raj & DK on how they have delivered stunning writing for the films. He said, “Whenever Raj and DK write something, it has to be atrangi (extraordinary). They wrote a movie about Zombies (Go Goa Gone) and look at how the zombies got killed in the end. Throw cocaine at them and they’ll die. So bizarre! In Stree, there is this ghost who takes away naked men. She could have simply taken them with their clothes on, but no. She will leave the clothes and take them away naked.”

Speaking of Guns & Gulasbs, he said, “Now this (Guns & Gulaabs) one. There is this normal guy who kills people with a paana (spanner). I love the whole world they have created and I have been their big fan, they are great friends. They are always ahead of what we can even think of so it is always fun to work with them.”

Rajkummar Rao will be seen in Guns & Gulaabs which is a black comedy crime thriller that is all set to stream on Netflix from August 18. The series is directed by Raj & DK and stars Dulquer Salmaan, Gulshan Devaiah, Adarsh Gaurav and Goutam Sharma among others.
