Rajkummar Rao kickstarts ‘Fanney Khan’ with this picture from the sets

Atul Manjrekar’s ‘Fanney Khan’ has been in the news for many reasons and the major one being its star cast. Finally, the movie’s star cast is confirmed and Anil Kapoor even started shooting for the movie a month back. Now, Rajkummar Rao has kickstarted shooting for the movie and he shared a picture announcing the same. He tweeted, “Day 1 on the sets of #FanneyKhan with wonderful @AnilKapoor sir. Brilliant energy on set.”

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is also a part of the movie will start shooting for the movie soon. As reported by IANS, the actress spoke at the red carpet of the Vogue Women of the Year Awards by saying, “Good luck to the entire team of ‘Fanney Khan’. I am looking forward to joining the team and enjoying the process of filmmaking. Talking about the movie, ‘Fanney Khan’ is a remake of the Dutch movie ‘Everybody’s Famous’. Directed by Atul Manjrekar, the movie is produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and KriArj Entertainment. It stars Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Divya Dutta. It is all set to release on April 13, 2017.

Recently, Anil Kapoor had also shared his salt-and-pepper look from the film. Reports suggest that the actor and the makers took around 50 hours to get the perfect look. He visited a Bandra salon for five consecutive days experimenting with different looks. He opted for a leaner look as he has undergone an ankle surgery. Praising him for his efforts, Bhushan Kumar has stated, “Anil Kapoor is an actor par excellence who gives his 200 percent to any character he portrays. The love and passion he has for films is visible in the time he has invested to get his look right and the dedication he has shown to get the perfect physique.”
