Rajkummar Rao-Nushrat Bharucha starrer ‘Turram Khan’ gets new title ‘Chhalaang’

It was last year when Hansal Mehta announced his movie ‘Turram Khan’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha. The title of the movie is changed now to ‘Chhalaang’ and it will be releasing on January 31, 2020. The news has been announced by the filmmaker on his social media handles.

He tweeted, “My next film with Raj and Nushrat is now CHHALAANG. See you in theatres on 31st Jan, 2020!”

The movie was earlier set to release on January 3, 2020, and now it will lock horns with Himesh Reshammiya’s ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’ at the box-office. ‘Chhalaang’ is produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg.

Hansal Mehta had earlier worked with Rajkummar in movies like ‘Shahid’, ‘Citylights’, ‘Aligarh’ and ‘Omerta’. ‘Chhalaang’ marks the reunion of Rajkummar and Nushrat after ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’. It would be great to see them working together after such a long gap.

Apart from ‘Chhalaang’, Rajkummar will be seen in horror-comedy ‘Roohi Afza’, that has Janhvi Kapoor opposite him. While Nushrat Bharucha who was last seen in ‘Dream Girl’, will be seen in ‘Hurdang’ opposite Vicky Kaushal’s brother, Sunny Kaushal.
