RajKummar Rao is an incredible actor with surreal screen presence. RajKummar’s journey has not been an easy ride. The actor made his screen debut in Rann and was noticed in Dibakar Banerjee’s, Love Sex Aur Dhokha. Since then, he has been a part of many movies and delivered hits. RajKummar is currently busy promoting his Netflix film, Monica, O My Darling.
During the promotion of the film, RajKummar recalled his struggling days. The actor said that he faced rejections in the past mainly due to his looks. He mentioned it was difficult to bag a role of a hero in films. He added that it was Dibakar Banerjee who went for his talent and saw ‘something in me’.
RajKummar told India Today, “There was a time when I would never get to audition for hero’s role. I was told to audition for his friend’s role. I know I am not the most good-looking man in the room but Dibakar Banerjee saw something in me.”

RajKummar has proved his mettle as an artist with various projects such as Kai Po Che!, Queen, Barielly Ki Barfi, and The White Tiger among others. He last delivered a terrific performance in Hit: The First Case. He shared screen space with Sanya Malhotra.
RajKummar will be next seen in Vasant Bala’s dark comedy, Monica, O My Darling. The actor is sharing screen space with Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte in the same. The trailer was released a few days ago and it received a good response. Earlier, in an interview with Free Press Journey, RajKummar opened up on working with Radhika Apte and said, “I was waiting to work with her. She’s a phenomenal actress. I enjoyed working with her. I hope I can work more with her in the future.”
