‘Stree’: Rajkummar-Shraddha’s new poster lives up to the theme of the film

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree’s trailer is all set to roll out today. Practising the old method to keep up the buzz around the film, the makers of the film released a new poster a few hours ago. The lead actor, Rajkummar, took to his Twitter handle, to share the poster of his horror-comedy.

Sharing a not-so-scary poster, Rajkummar wrote, “#Stree se bachne ke liye hum taiyaar hokar aa rahe hain, aap bhi savdhaan ho jao! #StreeTrailerToday@ShraddhaKapoor #DineshVijan @amarkaushik @TripathiiPankaj @Aparshakti @nowitsabhi @maddockfilms #D2RFilms @KrishDK @RajnDK @JioCinema @TSeries.”

In the poster shared, Rajkummar and Shraddha can be seen engrossed in each other’s eyes while the backdrop has the shadow of a lady, which we assume to be as the ‘Stree’, the makers are talking about since long. Nevertheless, since the trailer is going to be out today, we will ultimately come to know the actual ‘Stree’.

Directed by Amar Kaushik and collectively backed by Maddock Films production, Jio Studios and D2r films, ‘Stree’ will hit the screens on August 31. Luckily, the film has averted its big clash with ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ which was supposed to release the same day, but now has been postponed to September 21.
