Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has been more than a month, but still, people are not over it. From news channels to newspapers to social media, to his fans and celebs, everyone is talking and writing about Sushant’s death. While some are talking about ‘nepotism’ and ‘favouritism’ in the industry, some are demanding a CBI probe. Overall, his death has created a cacophony all across the nation.
We spoke to Rajniesh Duggall regarding this, to which he said, “I personally met Sushant a couple of times and he was a great guy, and very humble and hardworking. So, from my experience, I don’t know why he took this step but yes, a lot of people are using it the other way.” On nepotism debate, he said, “If anyone has a foothold in the industry, he would want his daughter or any relative to give them the first chance and after that, it depends on their talent. So, taking it towards nepotism is not the right thing.”
Talking further about nepotism, he said, “We were very well aware when we were entering. Everyone gets a chance and after that, it depends on your will and your talent. Talking about talent, there is nothing that Sushant didn’t have. He was super talented. So, I don’t think that was the case in his death. Let his soul rest in peace right now. Lots of people have taken it too much and it’s getting dirtier.”
While talking about his share of experience, Rajniesh said, “Of course, I have been through nepotism and favouritism as I’m not from the industry. But I feel it’s your journey and your own book that you are writing, so there will be ups and downs. Rajniesh said that there will be favouritism and nepotism in the industry but one shouldn’t suppress others”.
