Rajpal Yadav loses Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Dream Girl’ due to jail term

Life is not fair and it is full of ups and downs. We have seen many stars going through difficult times and also rising like a phoenix.  Comedian and actor Rajpal Yadav was jailed for non-payment of a loan. The actor came out of prison in late February.

Rajpal Yadav now says he is healed, happy and excited to go back to a film set and start shooting all over again. Now, the seasoned campaigner Rajpal Yadav was working on Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Dream Girl’ starring, Ayushmann Khurranna and Nushrat Bharucha in the main lead. The movie which is set to release this year is being shot in Delhi and Mathura.

A source quoted by SpotboyE says Rajpal Yadav, who was a part of the film had to be replaced. And the reason behind this is the actor’s jail term for Rs 5 Crore recovery suit.

The source says, “Rajpal Yadav had a very important role in the movie. But due to his unavailability, they have roped in ‘Stree’ actor, Abhishek Banerjee to play his character.”

Rajpal Yadav over the years has created a niche for himself in the industry due to his superb comic timing and impeccable acting. The comedian in an interview with IANS said, “I will soon start the shooting of the film ‘Time To Dance’ alongside Sooraj Pancholi and Isabelle Kaif. We shot the film abroad. A small part of it remains. We will finish that. It could have been finished before.” He also thanked produces for standing by him during this difficult period.
