Rakesh Roshan REVEALS details about his battle with cancer

Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan has been hit with an unfortunate turn of events. The filmmaker had been diagnosed with cancer in the tongue. His story has been very inspiring. Roshan recently opened up about his journey with cancer, he says even though he was worried he tried to be positive throughout.

According to a report by Spotboye, Rakesh Roshan said it all began with a blister that seemed harmless on the outside but it all changed when he got tests done. He said, “It all began with a blister which refused to go despite using several applications of prescriptions from my family doctor. It was a small one- no pain, no itching. One day, I had gone to meet a friend of mine in Hinduja Hospital. While walking out, I just saw a board of an ENT surgeon outside his cabin. I met him impromptu and he advised me biopsy.” He added that even before the reports got out, he had a feeling in his gut that he had cancer.

Rakesh said he was a bit scared as the procedures he was told about were a daunting he, from cutting off a piece of his tongue to grafting. He did not want to do all this.

Talking about the type of cancer he said, “Tongue is the worst place to have cancer. You may not be able to drink water coffee, tea.” Now that he has recovered he said, “Anyway now, I am much, much better. I have started gym 90 minutes every day. My personal trainer comes home, my stamina is back- but yes, it will take me another 6 months to be fully fit.”

Talking about Hrithik Roshan’s reaction to the news he said, these things are not new for his family. So, they address these issues and go all out to rectify them. Never get into a depression. Live life. Cancer is just a big name.”
