Here’s what Rakesh Roshan has to say about Sussanne Khan moving in with Hrithik amidst the lockdown

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan have really set the bar way high when it comes to co-parenting. Despite being divorced they have made sure to co-parent their two sons and they are doing their job wonderfully. In the wake of the current scenario owing to the lockdown, Sussanne has moved in with Hrithik, for the time being, so that both of them get to spend quality time with their kids. Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan is more than happy with Sussanne’s decision.

When asked about Sussanne temporarily moving in with her ex-husband Hrithik, Rakesh Roshan told SpotBoyE, “The world has to be together and supportive in difficult times.” Well, that’s true and difficult times does bring a family even closer.

Earlier sharing the news of Sussanne moving in with him, Hrithik had posted a heartfelt note on his Instagram handle. The ‘War’ actor wrote, “It is unimaginable for me, as a parent, to think of having to be separated from my children at a time when the country is practising lockdowns. It is heartwarming to see the world come together as one in this time of deep uncertainty and possibility of months of social distancing and potential lockdowns for several weeks perhaps. While the world talks about humanity coming together, I think it represents more than just an idea especially for parents sharing custody of their kids. How to keep their kids close to them without infringing on the right of the other who also has an equal right to be with his/her children.”

He further added, “This is a picture of dear Sussanne (my ex-wife), who has graciously volunteered to temporarily move out of her home so that our children are not disconnected indefinitely from either one of us. Thank you Sussanne for being so supportive and understanding in our journey of co-parenting. Our children will tell the story we create for them.(sic)”

Hrithik and Sussanne had tied the knot in 2000. They announced their separation after 13 years of marriage. The two finally got divorced in 2014. They have two sons, Hrehaan and Hridaan.
