Rakesh Sharma’s biopic starring Aamir Khan to be called ‘Saare Jahan Se Acha’

In his huge span of career, Aamir Khan has played it all. An alien, a wrestler, and now, he is all set to play an astronaut. Yes, after he completes with his ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, Aamir Khan is set to feature in a biopic based on the film of the first Indian astronaut to travel to space, Rakesh Sharma. This biopic has now got a title too.

As per the reports, this biopic would be called as ‘Saare Jahan Se Acha’. A source close to project revealed, “Since it’s a biopic on the astronaut’s life, the team wanted a name that will not only suit the biographical film but also have a patriotic feeling attached. They had two names in mind — ‘Salute’ and ‘Saare Jahan Se Acha’ and they are going ahead with the latter. It makes more sense.”

The source further added, “Aamir has already shot for a special character in his manager Advait Chauhan’s ‘Secret Superstar’. Right after ‘Dangal’, he starts work on YRF’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ with Amitabh Bachchan that releases on Diwali 2018. And he’s already signed the Rakesh Sharma biopic which will roll on right after he completes ‘Thugs’.”
