Rakhi Sawant challenges CWE wrestler to bout; lands up in hospital

Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant is back in news once again after her public spat with Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta. The actress was at a Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) match organized by Great Khali at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula in Haryana. The actress was performing at the competition when she challenged a wrestler to a bout. Read on to know what happened next at the event.

As per sources, Rakhi was dancing in the ring when a woman wrestler asked her to fight with her. Rakhi told her that she was a dancer and challenged her to compete with her in dance. Soon, they both started dancing but due to an argument, the wrestler lifted Rakhi up and threw her down on the floor of the ring injuring her.

A video of Rakhi lying on the ring floor is online. The 40-year-old is seen being escorted out of the ring by a woman police officer and the organisers.

Rakhi was then taken to the hospital where she is said to be stable.

Rakhi Sawant was recently in the news when in a series of press conferences, she had attacked Tanushree for her interviews on #MeToo. Dutta had accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of the film ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ in 2008. Tanushree was shooting for a special song when the incident took place and after the actress walked out, Rakhi was brought in to finish the song. Rakhi had also slapped a 25-paisa defamation suit on Tanushree.
