Rakhi Sawant: I’m not Salman Khan, Aamir Khan or Shah Rukh Khan to do things for publicity

Actress Rakhi Sawant has been in the headlines for her comments on Sage Valmiki as she compared Mika Singh to him. A case was filed against her by Valmiki Community officials last year. Reportedly, a team of two police officers were sent from Ludhiana to Mumbai to arrest Rakhi. Then, there were reports of her arrest and her sending updates from the prison. Today, during a media interaction, Rakhi spoke about the entire incident and also said that she is no Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan or Aamir Khan to do things for the sake of publicity. She even said that she got threats from the Valmiki community.

Said Rakhi, “I’m not being Salman, Aamir or SRK to do things just for publicity. I came to know through the media that I have been arrested and that there’s a case against me. I had no clue that there was a case against me, or the Punjab police is hunting me. I’m shocked myself. No cops have come to my house and I’m completely clueless about this.”

She narrated a shocking incident about Mika Singh’s encounter with an unknown girl. Said Rakhi, “Last year, a girl went to Mika Singh’s house and was abusing and placing allegations on him. He gave me a call saying that such kind of an incident has occurred in his house and that the girl has filed a case against him. Just because of an ugly incident between us, any random girl comes up and files a case against him. So, you have seen that he has changed a lot and I too want to say the same things that he is not the same anymore, he has become a very big celeb now, has many hit songs to his credit and he is number one singer. So, he gave me the permission that I can do a press conference on behalf of him. I went to save him, but got stuck myself. But, I don’t have any regrets.”
