Raksha Bandhan: Akshay Kumar shares new poster with trailer release date

Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors of Bollywood and is back with his third film announcement of the year. The actor who was recently seen in period drama Samrat Prithviraj, is all set for a family drama now. The superstar will be seen in Aanand L. Rai directorial Raksha Bandhan.

After announcing the film’s title via a video on June 16, Akshay Kumar has dropped the first-ever poster of Raksha Bandhan. He has also revealed that the film’s trailer release (June 21).

Akshay took to Instagram and sharing the first poster of Raksha Bandhan wrote, “Behen jaan hai… sisters and brothers are bound together with an unbreakable bond of love! Here’s our attempt at a glimpse into their world! #RakshaBandhanTrailer releasing on 21st June 2022.”

A couple of days back Akshay had shared the release date of the film. He wrote, “Bringing you all a story of the purest form of bond that will remind you of yours! ❤️ #RakshaBandhan releasing in cinemas on 11th August, 2022.”

Raksha Bandhan is produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films. It features Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in leading roles. The film also stars Abhinay Raj Singh, Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth in prominent roles. Raksha Bandhan will be releasing in cinemas on 11th August, 2022. It will be clashing with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.
