Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani to not host a reception in Mumbai after wedding in Goa?

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. The couple is all set to tie the knot on February 21 in Goa. It was recently reported that they will be hosting a reception in Mumbai for their close friends and family members. However, as per latest reports, Jackky and Rakul will not host any reception.

Rakul and Jackky to not a reception in Mumbai

Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “Contrary to speculations, we hear that Rakul and Jackky will have an intimate wedding in the presence of their family and close friends in Goa only. There will be no extended celebrations or a reception in Mumbai or anywhere else after. It looks like it is going to be a 3-4 day affair like most wedding usually are.”

For the uninitiated, Rakul and Jackky had initially planned a destination wedding overseas. But the couple decided to scarp the idea afrer PM Narendra Modi’s recent initiative. The Prime Minister urged rich and influential families to choose India as the venue for their big life events. Due to this, they decided to tie the knot in India.

Rakul and Jackky’s upcoming movies

On the work front, Rakul will be seen in Indian 2. The actress also has an untitled film with Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. On the other hand, Jackky is producing Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is slated to release on Eid 2024.
