Rakul Preet Singh arrives at NCB office; will be questioned for the ongoing drugs case

Rakul Preet Singh will be questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today in the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood. She has reached the NCB office in Mumbai. The actress who was in Hyderabad reached Mumbai yesterday after she received the summons.

Earlier yesterday, she had denied that she didn’t receive any summon either in Hyderabad or Mumbai. But later, she had acknowledged the summons sent to her on Thursday.

Yesterday, NCB officials told ANI, “Summon was issued to Rakul Preet Singh yesterday. We tried to contact her through various platforms, but she has not responded yet.” Later, the actress said in her statement, “I have not received the alleged summons either at Mumbai or Hyderabad so far.”

After her statement, NCB officials told ANI, “Yes, Rakul Preet Singh has acknowledged the summons and updated her latest address.”

Apart from Rakul, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Karishma Prakash (Deepika’s manager) are also summoned for questioning. These names surfaced after Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB. She is currently in the judicial custody as her bail plea was rejected.
