Rakul Preet Singh reveals why she and Jackky Bhagnani decided to make their relationship official

In October, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani made their relationship official on Instagram by penning a sweet note for each other. even though they are out in public, the couple still hasn’t gone all out and about on Instagram by sharing multiple love-soaked pictures. Nevertheless, the De De Pyaar De actor revealed why they have decided to make their relationship official in a recent interview. According to her, Rakul thought there’s nothing to hide or to be shy about their relationship. 

She also mentioned that they faced it instead of hiding and running like other couples. “We’re both of the opinions that there is nothing to hide or be sly about a relationship. If you are in one, the best thing is to give each other that respect and acknowledge it. Let’s face it. We all know who the couples are, hiding and running. Both of us don’t come from that school of thought,” Rakul told on Film Companion. 

Talking about Jackky’s birthday post for her where he was all poetic, Rakul said, “I didn’t know he was going to be a poet. I knew he was going to wish me in public but I thought it would just be ‘happy birthday’. I didn’t know it was going to be such a poetic message. I was quite surprised.”

Even though they have made it official, Rakul and Jackky don’t want to take any focus away from her work. She added, “It is a part of my life and it exists. Just like I have my parents, my brother, I have someone special in my life. And that’s about it. I don’t want to make news of it. Neither does he.”
