Ram Gopal Varma booked for tweets against Ram Rahim

The controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma is once again embroiled in a controversy. Fans of MSG: The Messenger star Saint Ram Rahim Gurmeet Singh have filed a police complaint against him. Ram Gopal Varma, known for his notorious tweets and jibes, made a scathing remark on Gurmeet Singh calling him an ‘ass‘. The followers of Ram Rahim were quite unhappy with it, and took action against RGV.

RGV has already a complaint filed against him for his tweet about Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi. Now he has done it once again, hurt the religious sentiment of followers of Dera Sacha Sauda chief. A devotee Jasbir Singh of Ludhiana’s Lohara village, has filed a first information report (FIR) against the director at Daba village under Section 298 (uttering words to hurt religious sentiments) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The followers of Dera Sacha Sauda are mighty irked with RGV, and are set for a long legal fight with the filmmaker.

Seems like RGV has truly stirred the hornets nest now.
