Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma‘s Twitter handle is filled with some nasty tweets about some or the other personality of the industry. The director’s latest target was actress Sunny Leone and he had made a rather sexist comment on her, and that too on International Women’s Day.
As the world celebrated the Day, RGV took to Twitter and wrote, “I wish all the women in the world give as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives.” (Also Read: And he is back! This Women’s Day, Ram Gopal Varma takes a dig at Sunny Leone)
This statement of his did not go down well with people, and the filmmaker was trolled on Twitter for his remark. However, RGV did try to clarify his statement through a series of tweets:
But no clarification seemed to work here, as according to a news agency, a complaint has been registered against the director over his sexist tweet. The said case has been filed by an activist, Vishaka Mhambre, in Goa.
This again has not shook the director one bit, who is now planning to register a counter complaint.
Varma said that the complaint as an overreaction and replied saying, “Filing counter against OverActivist wid 212 followers which wud b her family n friends, for disrespecting 18 lakh followers of @SunnyLeone.”
The director, who is known for slamming people on Twitter had last targeted Tiger Shroff for his picture on the beach and had called him bikini babe.
