Maharashtra’s BJP leader Ram Kadam has been making headlines since his controversial comments on kidnapping women, and once again the leader is in news. This time, Ram paid fake condolences to Sonali Bendre, who is getting herself treated in New York for cancer.
Kadam took to Twitter and posted a message about Sonali Bendre in Marathi which we have translated for you. “Popular Bollywood and Marathi diva, who has been entertaining with her performances, which were highly appreciated by her fans is no more. Sonali Bendre passed away in America,” he wrote.
After the tweet spread like wildfire, Twitteratis took screenshots of the same and slammed the leader for spreading fake information. Later, Ram once again took to Twitter to claim that it was a false alarm as he had been hearing this from past two days. He wrote, “About Sonali Bendre ji  It was rumour . Since last two days .. I pray to God for her good health & speedy recovery.”
In no time, Maharashtra BJP spokesperson Shaina NC addressed the rumours without mentioning the name of the culprit. She said, “People should show restraint as our dear friend @iamsonalibendre is fighting valiantly in the fight against #cancer and is on the road to recovery. All she requires is our PRAYERS and not stupid RUMOURS.”

What pleasure do these people get in spreading such baseless rumours about anyone? Don’t you think these rumours can hurt the sentiments of many?
