Ram Lakhan jodi Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff to reunite for Anees Bazmee directorial Chor Police?

Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff have collaborated for blockbuster hits like Ram Lakhan, Karma, Parinda and more. Adorably referred to as the Ram Lakhan of Bollywood they are reportedly collaborating for Anees Bazmee’s directorial Chor Police. The movie is being produced by Subhash Ghai. For the unversed Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor have worked together in a number of hit films.

As reported by sources to Pinkvilla, “it’s a comic caper with Anil Kapoor playing a character from the family of thieves aka Chor. Jackie Shroff will be seen as a member of a cop family aka police. The duo has a very dynamic chemistry in the film, with both characters having opposite traits. Both Anil and Jackie feel that this is a script that actually warrants their reunion.”

Sources further added, “It’s written by Anees Bazmee and Pattu Parekh. The talks are on with Ravi Jadhav on come on board as the director. The film is at the moment in the nascent stage, but everything should fall in place by early next year. Apart from Anil and Jackie, the team is on the hunt for a younger pair of actors to play the male and female leads in the film.”

But there has been no confirmation of the same as yet by the makers or the actors. But if the reports do come true then we may witness the magic of Ram Lakhan once again.

On the work front, Anil Kapoor has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. The movie features Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. Jackie Shroff  has Life Is Good, directed by Ananth Mahadevan.
