The ceremony of the laying of the foundation stone of the Ram Temple will take place today in the holy land of Ayodhya. PM Modi has already arrived in Ayodhya and he has performed ‘puja’ at Hanumangarhi. He also planted a Parijat sapling, considered a divine plant, ahead of foundation stone-laying. Ayodhya is being decorated and decked up with earthen lamps and was also illuminated. Several dignitaries from political and religious fields are invited to participate.
This is really a proud moment for the country and people are showing their excitement via social media. Also, Bollywood celebs like Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher and others have expressed their happiness for the ‘bhoomi pujan’ in Ram Mandir.
On behalf of Kangana Ranaut, her team tweeted, “Two pictures sum up a journey of 500 years, journey of love, faith and devotion, journey of a civilisation that rose from ashes to the glory of its most revered icon …. JAI SHRI RAM ?#RamMandirAyodhya”.
